I firmly believe that one may coloring pages these stars as "spokespersons" and have coloring tell why they like a certain fragrance and even have them "endorse a product", but to simply "slap another star's name" on a bottle hoping that it'll sell the product only sells the fragrance industry and the consumer "short."

The fragrance "power companies" here seem "enamored" with big names, for obvious reasons. The use of big named coloring page stars" or "sports figures" might have "drawing power", however, there is a "downside" to this. Many of today's new fragrances are "dead upon arrival", and yet the fragrance business persists in following a "failed paradigm". Do I sound arrogant? Hardly. I do not mean it unkindly though unkindly it may be taken. Last time I checked, celebrities had the same rights as me. They are free to enter the fragrance industry and compete. However, I believe there is a better place and use for celebrities in the fragrance business. I am a part of this fragrance industry...a minor part. I am a small "start up" company, and numerous small independent companies like mine are doing well! I have tried to avoid the pitfalls of the big cosmetic companies. I respect their past success, but I want to avoid their mistakes.

Do you remember as a child having a coloring book where you were shown a scene, perhaps many mountains with trees, a flowing stream as well as lake, a forest, etc. and below the picture the caption read:

We have heard quite a bit in the last few years, even prior to the downturn in the economy, about drooping cosmetic /perfume sales in the United States. We are told that annual sales are down one or more billion dollars. Now I do not claim to be an expert in economics, but I have made pages subtle if not interesting observations. My company, Lorenzo Siena Fragrances, is barely 3 years old. I am doing well; I am a relative new-comer to the fragrance business and perhaps that "in and of itself" qualifies me to make the forthcoming observations.

This is going on to the detriment of the business as a whole.

I believe the public is really tired of big names in Hollywood and sports trying to sell them fragrances. Sure, the name recognition is there and some sell well, but I believe the public wants their actors to act, their singers to sing and their sports stars to play sports. Years ago, it took Ford Motor Company only one Edsel to learn from their mistake. They didn't repeat their folly; they recognized it and adapted.

For every successful Hollywood fragrance launch, there are literally dozens of other big name "flops."

I may be "outside the box" looking in, but I believe I have a clearer picture. '' I may not fit the "paradigm," but that is fine with me. I am progressing quite nicely with my men's cologne and expect to have similar happens with my two new launches this year. I think I have a "beat" on the public's desires, and it does not take marketing polls to discover this.
The answer to me is simple--so simple that I think many are missing the "little boy, the cart and the donkey" in the picture, if not the entire forest. Produce a quality product at a reasonable price and do not try to "trick the public into thinking that "big name stars" are suddenly "fragrance coloring page and experts."

The fragrance market in the US today seems to be "locked into" the same old mold. The poet EE Cummings once wrote, "the cult of same is all the chic." He could well have been writing about the fragrance business here. The paradigm used is the same old thing "like the proverbial dog that chases its tail" and pages running in circles. My background is 36 years in the classroom as a high school teacher, and my journey "from classroom to fragrance" these last few years has been a fascinating one. It has been quite successful. Perhaps it is because I am "outside the box" or "paradigm" and have, I believe, a clearer view. I need no focus group to tell me what I see, and what I see is not just a "glut" of new fragrance releases (that is not the problem), but a marketing technique that is "tired and old."

I too am anticipating another very good year for my company.
If there is a lesson in all this, it may very well be:

In the fragrance market today, we do not even give the public a chance to digest "the new", never mind develop a loyalty to the old, but in a few exceptional cases, and those few fragrances have been well established for decades and for good reason.

"Hidden in this picture is a little boy in a cart being pulled by a donkey. Can you find them?"
No matter how hard you tried, you were unable to find them until you turned the page and the artist showed you how cleverly he had hidden them. They were there all the while, but you couldn't "see the whole picture".........Well, let's play a game..... Let's look if you able to find the "hidden picture" now...

Caveat Emptor! In flagrante delicate ... (Let the Buyer Beware ...while the act is in progress!)------ -----and the seller too!

Do We Need Another Celebrity Fragrance?

Internet sales are doing well and small "niche brands" are cutting into the larger market. They now account for an even higher percentage of sales... and all of this "without the use and associated cost of "celebrity name brands". Does this tell us anything?

Recently, a major orange juice company changed the "carton design only" of their famous orange juice. The "New York Times" reported a few weeks ago about the "public outcry" over this change. Interesting. The parent compan was flooded with emails, phone calls and complaints. Thus, Tropicana reverted to its old carton design. What does this tell us in regards to the fragrance business or any other industry for that matter? I believe the public is looking for "stability"...not constant change,... especially with a product they have come to "know and love." I realize "stability" may frighten some in the fashion /fragrance world because they may think of it as "stagnation" ---but that is precisely what the individuals at the ornage juice company thought. They felt a need to replace a perfectly successful design. They wanted "new"---again---and the public reaction was negative. (You can't pay to get that kind of consumer loyalty---but you CAN ruin it!)

Now with a great emerging market in Brazil and Russia, are we to repeat the errors of declining sales here in the US and bring them there? Will we have soccer players in Rio with their own fragrance brand?

Herman Melville, in discussing the "mystical properties of water", in his novel Moby Dick wrote, "If Niagara were a cataract of sand, would you travel a thousand miles to see it?" The same is true with perfume and cologne. If all of these "mystical fragrances" blend into one Hollywood marketing style, then the "mystical" is lost. Melville might then ask, "If fragrances mean another Hollywood counterfeit, would you travel even five miles to a fragrance counter to make a purchase ?" Could this be why the "niche" brands are doing so well? Have they managed to maintain the "mystical"?

A keen businessman and educator for 36 years, he entered the fragrance market in 2006 with the launch of "Palio by Lorenzo Siena" for men. The company will also be launching "Palio Gold' (for men) and "Lady Palio" later this year.

Before we could teach students, we must educate coloring teachers. So often, teaching units and resource materials are laced with generic views of Indian people. Even coloring page such illustrations are labeled, "Woodland," the message is still very clear, the view that kids get is usually pages standard stereotypical view of Indians in fringed buckskin coloring page poorly conceived trade clothing and shown in front of a little of generic wigwam or even just a tipi. This type of publication does nothing coloring pages convey realistic information to the student. It continues to teach them that it is alright to believe that all Indians were basically alike and that there is no need to make clear distinctions between specific time periods or specific tribal cultures. That notion is like saying all Americans are alike or all "caucasian" people are alike as if there is no difference between a child growing up in the Bronx and a child growing up in the mountains of Virginia. There are cultural differences, dialectic differences and even value differences. Teaching about American Indians is no different. Each region has its cultural affiliations and those should be made clear to the coloring One of the targets with this teacher resource book is to untangle the web of mixed up and artificial ideas along with the generic profiles so standard in American education today and define these people in a clear way by time period, culture and even as every people for the purpose of better understanding by students. The author wants teachers to be able to help students known a Miami or Shawnee tribal member of the 19th century from a Mississippian living in a very different society 400 years earlier.

Teachers, educators and historians, here is a book that'll help you teach young individuals about the real Native Americans that lived in the Wabash Valley. This special teacher resource guides you from one time period to the next with line illustrations that able to double as coloring book pages for the very young. Each illustration is clearly defined and detailed with an explanation of the time period, the activity depicted and in many cases the materials that are used in the clothing of the individuals.

In 1826, Charles Trowbridge was hired by the US government to interview tribal elders from the Miami, Shawnee and other Wabash Nations in order to obtain details on how they viewed their occupation and ownership of the land. Trowbridge went beyond the outline of his assignment and gathered intimate details of cultural attributes from specific points of view. Trowbridge interviewed Chief Jean Baptiste Richardville and LaGros of the Miami and it is from this information that the next section of the book has its source. The first version was called, "Meear Meear Traditions," Edited by Vernon Kinetz and part of the Ethnohistorical Archives of the Ohio Valley-Great Lakes Collection at the Glen Black Laboratory, Indiana University at Bloomington, Indiana. In order to make it user friendly for 4th graders, the author further edited the original and gave it a make over with clear language and definition of terms. The author also chose to create a question and answer format for the vast amount of material to be covered in this chapter to further stimulate a young person's inquisitive mind. Cultural ideas covered include: When Miami and related groups came to be in the Wabash Valley; Where the Miami lived before the Iroquois Wars; What Miami villages were located in the Wabash; Miami political organization; Miami social organization; Warfare among the Miami; Gender roles and Marriage; Miami beliefs; Birth of Children; Vision Quest; Feasts; Adoption; and Dances.

Natives Along the Wabash

There are also challenging activities requiring adult supervision included in the book such as how to build a real wigwam. This activity requires cutting poles, digging holes, climbing a ladder and working cooperatively with fellow students and adult supervisors. The idea is to learn the basics of simple wigwam construction and get a feel of what it was like to actually have to build your home from what the environment offers in your location. There are illustrations that help guide the builders and well defined set of instructions based on not only real historical evidence but based on years of first hand experience by the author doing this for classrooms and living history events around the country. This activity serves as an introduction to a more thorough outline of wigwams and longhouses of the historical period. Students can read about the details of the wigwam from placing a fire pit in the center to smoke control devices, bedding, twine storage bags, and more. The text sections continue with a detailed account of life in a summer house including types of bark used for covering, room dividers, even the order in which families ate and where food was stored.

In order for students to remember what they read, a useful tool is often a set of deliberate questions that encourage the students to do research while they read. The next section is just such a tool and offers a set of 18 questions that often require students to look very deep inside the text of the book to find the answers. Sample questions include, "What ceremony did young Miami people go through before becoming adults?"; "Explain the meaning of the Thunderbird and Underwater Panther."; "What kinds of clothing did Mississippian Indian people wear at Angel Mounds?" and finally, "What purpose was the brain of the animal used by the Miami, Piankeshaw and other Native woodland people?" These are just a few of the brain activating questions that students will find stimulating in this publication.

Games played by Native people were very important and have been used extensively as a teaching tool in hands on classroom programs for years. There is a detailed and well illustrated section on how to make a double ball with adult supervision and how to play the game. Another important item used by Native people is a leather pouch. Included in this publication is a detailed description and illustrations of how to make a small leather pouch.

Everyone loves to eat and so this book would not be complete without a small section on food with an accompanying activity. Finally, there is a summary question and answer section with illustrations just to see what students learned from this publication. There is a section in the back of the book with additional resources including books, web sites and places to go to get more information.

There is an extensive section showing Native Americans in the Wabash Region through time from 300 BC to 2005 that has been cautiously illustrated by Steve Tucker, President of Piankeshaw Trails. Steve, himself was an art teacher for many years and has been guided by the author's meticulous research in how each time period is to be shown. The details in clothing and background are very much in keeping with the author's goal of bringing a very authentic publication into the hands of educators for use as a tool in the classroom. These pages could also serve as a coloring book for the very young. Teachers can feel free to copy them and pass them out to students. This section also picks specific cultures and shows how each would have looked and activities they may have been involved in during a specific time period. There are definition of words such as pow wow that are introduced as well as tribal names and events that are introduced with both text and illustrations.

One of the first critical thinking activities is offered through a view into a longhouse. Students are asked to peer into the living area of a 1755 woodland structure typical of that time period in the Wabash Region and find things of the 21st century that are clearly out of place. Then once they have achieved that, students are asked to think of things that Native people of that era may have used instead even though there may not be a direct replacement but to try and come as close as possible. An example is given to get them started. This is great for a test question or quiz in the classroom.

There is also an extensive chapter that summarizes the biographies of noted individuals from the Miami, Piankeshaw, Shawnee, Delaware (Lenape), Wea and Potawatomi living in and around the region of the Wabash. There are beautiful line illustrations of many of these individuals while others identified in the text will have their faces forever remain obscure to the students of history.

This publication called, "Natives Along the Wabash, a Teacher Resource Book" is divided into sections starting with how this book meets or exceeds Indiana Department of Education's Academic Standards for the 4th grade Social Studies unit on Native American studies. Next, the book outlines the basis for its existence which is a professional hands on Woodland Indian Educational Program that was created for classrooms and has been used successfully for decades by teachers in Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, and Michigan. It briefly goes into the expansion of this program by the educational director into early areas of culture and new areas of the eastern US starting in the fall of 2008. The book clearly covers the timeline used by academia to establish cultural modifies through time by Native inhabitants of the region. This will help teachers establish which American Indians lived in the most distant past and those that came to be identified as living in the Wabash valley at later times and often how these changes occurred.

Remember that what you may perceive as a threat may turn out coloring be a great opportunity!

Be honest with yourself. You are not setting goals here! Don't mention anything as a strength unless you really believe it to be the true.

Here are some examples of achievable strengths:

- I have working experience...

- I love working on a computer...

- I have done enough research to know my idea is financially viable.

- I have studied this topic and clearly understand the concept.

- I have lots of practical experience doing this.

In fact, having done your homework you will gain their respect and back up by illustrating that you acknowledge your weaknesses and have pages some time finding solutions. Weaknesses coloring page not be hidden away or ignored. You can only ignore a weakness at your own peril!

Just a word or two about competitors, one of your main threats. Any successful business will have competitors. In fact, competition (now or in the future) is a given. Learn from your competitors. What are they doing that is obviously working? What are their strengths and weaknesses?

On the other hand, there may be no plumbers in your area. This could be an opportunity!

Tip: Learn to be creative.

What can you do? Very little. Ideas can not be patented. Yes, he is not allowed to infringe your copyright, i.e. he may not copy parts of your e-book without your permission but nothing stops him from using your ideas and writing his own "unique" take on events.

As the old saying goes "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer" I am not saying you should think of your competitors as the enemy. coloring pages you should keep a close eye on them.

Some examples include:

- Offering a unique solution to a problem.

- Taking advantage of a new trend before everyone else.

- Improving an existing product.

Weaknesses (Internal factor - Refers directly to you)

Here are a few, just of the top of my head...

Do not let the threats you have identified prevent you from taking action. No, if most people reacted like this most businesses would not exist today and many people would be too afraid to get out of bed in the morning!

What are your strengths? What are you bringing to the table? This is typically the answers you would give someone when they consult why YOU think the business will succeed.

Let's look at an example of something which is rife in internet marketing: information theft. You write a killer new e-book on the best ways of getting rid of fleas on your dog. Someone steals most of your ideas, writes his own e-book and starts selling it on eBay for 99c.

Making Money Online - How To Compile A SWOT Analysis In Internet Marketing

Let's briefly consider the four elements:

There will always be some negative people, even in your own family circle, that will say things like "But you hate writing. How are you going to..." By acknowledging your weaknesses and finding solutions you don't need to get defensive when it sounds as if someone is criticizing you.

Some examples include:

- I hate writing...

- I often lack self-discipline...

- I have a habit of procrastinating.

- I have a great product but do not know how to promote it.

Threats often come in the guise of competitors. However, a possible replace in legislation, consumer behavior, and cheaper substitutes can all be major threats.

Some threats may already be existing threats while other threats may or may not actually become real threats in the future. You need to take both types into consideration.

An opportunity is normally something that gives you an advantage, if you act on it. For example, what opportunity is there in becoming a plumber if there are already 20 other plumbers operating in your area, all great and hungry for business?

Strengths (Internal factor - Refers directly to you)

In many ways, identifying an opportunity may be best reason to take action. Very often, opportunities do not last long. You need to get in early. An opportunity is simply not going to delay until you finally decide to do something about it.

Focus on playing to your strengths and overcoming your weaknesses. For example, if you hate writing you could always outsource it to someone that loves writing. If you are not sure how to promote a product you can purchase some books that will give you step-by-step advice.

In fact, there are probably hundreds of possible uses you can list. Just shows you what can be done if you are willing use your creative mind!

Opportunities (External factor - Refers to outside factors)

Remember that there are opportunities all around us. But, you need to be open-minded and look for opportunities. Waiting for an opportunity to come and stand right in front of you and pull you by the ear to coloring it is simply not going to happen.

Most successful internet marketers have learned that the trick is not to try and destroy competitors but rather to work together in promoting one another's products. In fact, although many internet marketers have exactly the same target retail doing a JV (joint venture) can prove highly beneficial for both parties.

This is often the hard part for most people. It is not nice to make a list of your weaknesses. However, we all have strengths AND weaknesses. By being honest with yourself and identifying your weaknesses you are actually exclusively listing possible problems.

A SWOT Analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats)'s nothing new. However, it remains a valuable tool and I am often surprised how few internet marketers actually make use of it. As far as I am concerned, every business plan should include a SWOT analysis.

I once attended a lecture on creativity. The lecturer asked each one of us to make a list of possible uses for a pen and gave us only 60 seconds. I would have been happy only getting 5 seconds! Apart from the obvious one of using a pen to write my mind was blank. I was simply not open to exploring new possibilities...

Imagine the possibilities (and opportunities) in creative problem solving!

Your weaknesses are not to be used as excuses. The reason for listing your weaknesses is to find solutions!

There is also a lot of free information available on the internet!

Tip: View threats as possible opportunities or opportunities in disguise.

Tip: Visit some internet marketing forums such as Warrior Forum.

Threats (External factor - Refers to outside factors)

How many uses can you come up with for a pen in 60 seconds?

Have you identified an opportunity? Yes? Seize it with both hands!

Writing, coloring in something, chewing it in your mouth (helps you think, solution to boredom), rolling it between your fingers (keeping your hands busy), drawing or sketching, breaking it (giving relief to frustration), using it as a paperweight (to prevent papers from blowing away), lending it to someone (doing someone a favor), selling it (it may be a collector's item), using it as a toy (throwing it, imagining it is a missile), using it as a lever, using it to type on your cell phone (if your fingers are too big), etc.

As in the case of "weaknesses" you need to be realistic about threats.

Continue coloring do this every single time there is a screaming session for the whole coloring page if you select to try doing this in a whole day, or for several days when you are around the bird.

When we forgot coloring pages the bird screaming problem came about, we would get whoever was in the kitchen to leave the kitchen without acknowledging the birds and not go back until the birds quit screaming. Then we would move them to the play stand and the person could return to the kitchen.

And the list goes on and on!

The most common bird screaming time is early morning when the sun starts to rise and in the evening as the sun starts to set. It seems to just be built into birds to greet the sun and then tell it great night.

If you are really trying to solve a bird screaming issue that is threatening the relationship with your bird, you might even want to spend an entire day at home for this very purpose.

We solved 80% of our bird screaming problem by taking the birds to the dining room stand, next to the kitchen, when one of us were going to be in the kitchen for more than a couple of minutes. When we did this, they did not scream. When we forgot, they would scream the entire time.

Consider some bird training techniques. Clicker training has helped many people stop bird screaming behavior. Even teaching the bird to step up or wave can help. Spending time with your bird every day, doing bird training, and then following that up with some healthy treats in their bowl, will often satisfy the bird for quite a while.

What about the other bird screaming times?

Read down the first column and note any consistencies. Such as, finding that many of the times that the bird started screaming someone was in the kitchen, or someone was dialing the phone. Do the same with the other columns. Then think about what you or others might do differently to help stop the bird from screaming in the first place.

How able to I stop my bird from screaming so much?

Have a log ready for writing on. In the margin of the log put the time of day, and draw three lines down the middle of the page. At the top of each column write, Before", During", and After" so that you can keep up with the bird screaming events.

Then when the bird starts screaming, note what was going on just before the bird screaming began. For instance, Im on computer, husband in kitchen and kids outside in yard in view of parrot."

Think of ways to prevent the situation that makes the bird screaming begin. For example, move the cage to where everyone is, spend time with the bird a few minutes every hour, give foraging activities, have short bird training sessions to help the bird get some rewards for pleasing you. Clicker training is a great help sometimes.

There are just numerous reasons for bird screaming problems to cover everything here. I thought it best to highlight many of the things I have learned and then just present some ideas that may help stop some bird screaming behaviors.

We did this in that order so that the birds did not get rewarded for their bird screaming session. We dont want them to think that they can start screaming and get us to come and get them. By waiting until they were quiet to come and get them, they did not get any rewards.

In reality, we are their flock and they want to make sure all the flock is in there with them when they wake up and then announce that its getting time to eat the evening meal and again that it is time find a roost for the night.

At first we would just be careful not to reward the screaming behavior. When they would begin the screaming session, we would pretend we coloring page look or hear them. This does work in a couple of cases, but usually you need to figure out what your bird really wants and stay away the issue instead of ignoring the issue.

Bird Screaming Problem

How I stopped our bird screaming sessions

Here is a short list of some things that I have found to cause bird screaming problems:

You will need to go about your normal routine and not give the bird any unusual attention to get to the root of the problem. You might have to do this many different days in some cases.

Many individuals write me as well as ask if I could support them with their bird screaming problems. Some birds seem to constantly scream or when they do scream, they do it for minutes at a time. To us there does not seem to be a reason, but there really is a think or the bird would not be screaming.

Clicker Training for Birds can help bird screaming problems fade away and be replaced with positive behaviors you want to encourage.

The bird screaming log

Purchase pellets and mixes that are free of peanuts, artificial vitamins and additives. pages birds have stopped irritating bird screaming behaviors just by removing one or more of these items from their diet.

Reinforce all good behaviors. Lavish attention on the bird when it is quiet, playing with toys, eating its healthy treats, and doing behaviors you want to continue.

Once you find some patterns, and there may be a lot more than one issue that bothers your bird, you will want to come up with solutions to head off the bird screaming situations.

I have a couple of Green Cheeked Conures that used to give us grief several times a day with bird screaming sessions. One day we finally decided it was driving us crazy enough that we would take the time to figure out what was producing it.

How to use your bird screaming journal to help you

Some ideas for avoiding bird screaming

What to do with your bird screaming journal

During the screaming, do and/or say what you normally do during the bird screaming events in your house. Write down exactly what everyone does or continues to do during each screaming session. When the bird screaming session ends, write down what everyone was doing and or saying when the bird quit screaming. Dont leave anything out, every detail is important.

Now that you have all these notes on your bird screaming sessions, what are you to do with them? You will be amazed sometimes at the patterns you will find. Because no two households are alike, I will not be able to help you specifically with your bird here, but I can help you look at your situation.

Hormonal times

Allergies to peanuts

Allergies to artificial vitamins

Allergies to chemicals and food coloring in food

Other food allergies

Lack of attention

Being left out of flock" activities

Needing to go to bed

Wanting more food or water

Wanting a bath when hearing water run or rain outside

Boredom, needing new toys, training, or foraging activities

Loneliness

Perceived danger for themselves or the flock"

Wanting peace and quiet

Dislike of someone that has offended them

Jealousy

coloring member leaving the room or house

Flock" member returning and not joining them

Flock" eating without them or not sharing their food

Change of diet, wishing for what they are used to eating

Instead of getting upset with your birds natural instinct, plan on it and even encourage it. Maybe even join them and become a part of the flock. (It could really be quite fun!) You wont notice how loud they are when you join in too.

After taking note of what we were doing, where everyone was located in the house, and where the birds were in reference to our locations, we quickly discovered the problem from our birds point of view.
Most of the times that our birds had screaming sessions, there was someone was in the kitchen, or someone had disappeared from site. Most of the time, one of us was in the kitchen when the bird screaming began.

For all the other bird screaming times, you will must put on your investigator hat and get out your pad and pen. Start paying close attention to exactly what happens before, during and after your bird vocalizes.

Getting a entire spectrum light for your birds can make a real difference in your birds attitude and health. I explain the importance of full spectrum lighting on the Parrot and Conure World site.

If you are reading this article in hopes of finding a solution to stop all bird screaming, you will not find it here or anywhere. Most birds scream sometime, they are meant to scream and will always find a time to scream if they are healthy.

Our birds thought part of the flock was feeding on something and they were being left out. By taking them to the play stand in the dining room and giving them some fit treats, they felt like they were foraging right along with the other flock member.

When is bird screaming normal?

e. Aortic regurgitation
Aortic regurgitation is the leaking of the aortic valve of the heart that causes blood to flow in the reverse direction during ventricular diastole, from the aorta into the left ventricle. Symptoms of aortic regurgitation include fatigue or weakness, shortness of breath, chest pain, palpitation and irregular heart beats.

* Hypertensive heart disease
Hypertensive heart disease coloring pages caused by high blood pressure that increases the work load of the heart. Overtime the muscles of the heart become thick in result of an enlarged left ventricle and decreased blood pump from the heart. Symptoms of heart failure include shortness of breath, swelling in the feet, ankles, or abdomen, fatigue, irregular pulse, nausea and frequent urination at night.

Beside cancer, heart disease kills more than 2,000 Americans everyday. Approximately 60 million Americans have heart disease.

6. Heart disease affecting electrical system
The electrical system within the heart is responsible for ensuring the heart beats correctly so that blood can be transported to the cells throughout our body. Any malfunction of the electrical system in the heart causes a fast, slow, or irregular heartbeat. The electrical system within the heart is responsible for ensuring that the heart beats correctly so that blood can be transported throughout our the body. Any malfunction of the electrical system in the heart malfunction can cause a fast, slow, or irregular heartbeat.

i. Lutein
Lutein is one of the carotenoids, yellow and orange pigments found in pages fruits and vegetables. Lutein supplementation has already been proven in helping prevent muscular degeneration, the most common cause of irreversible blindness in the elderly. Study shows that increased dietary intake of lutein may prevent against the development of early atherosclerosis. It also helps explain why diets rich in fruits and vegetables are associated with reduced risk of heart diseases.

a) Dilated cardiomyopathy
The heart cavity is enlarged and stretched. Blood flows more slowly through an enlarged heart, causing formation of blood clots as a result of clots sticking to the inner lining of the heart, breaking off the right ventricle into the pulmonary circulation in the lung or being dislodged and carried into the body's circulation to form emboli .

2. Heart Disease affecting heart muscles
In the case of heart diseases affecting heart muscles, the heart muscles are stiff, increasing the amount of pressure required to expand for blood to flow into the heart or the narrowing of the passage as a result of obstructing blood flow out of the heart.
Heart diseases affecting heart muscles include:

g. Ventricular tachycardia
Ventricular tachycardia is pages as a fast heart rhythm that originates in one of the ventricles of the heart . This is a potentially life-threatening arrhythmia due to it may lead to ventricular fibrillation and/or abrupt death. Symptoms of ventricular tachycardia include light headedness, dizziness, fainting, shortness of breath and chest pains.

e. Selenium
Selenium deficiency will cause increase in high blood pressure.

6. Palpitations
Palpitations is an extremely common symptom of heart disease. Palpitations are skips in the heart beats and irregular heart beats.

5. Heart disease affecting heart lining
Rheumatic heart disease happens from inflammation of the heart lining when too much fluid builds up in the lungs leading to pulmonary congestion. It is due to failure of the heart to remove fluid from the lung circulation coloring pages in shortness of breath, coughing up blood, pale skin and excessive sweating. Heart disease resulting from inflammation of either the endocardium or pericardium is called heart disease affecting heart lining.

b. Rhabdomyomas
Most of rhabdomyomas occur in children or infants and are associated with tuberous sclerosis. It develops in the myocardium or the endocardium and accounts for about one out of every five tumors that originate in the heart causing obstruction of blood flow, valvular insufficiency, and cardiac arrhythmias. Symptoms of rhabdomyomas include palpitations, chest pains, shortness of breath, and nausea.

c) Restrictive cardiomyopathy
The ventricles becomes excessively rigid, so it's harder for the ventricles to fill with blood between heartbeats. The symptoms of restrictive cardiomyopathy include shortness of breath, swollen hands and feet.

c. Lecithin
Lecithin supplies the body with needed inositol, choline and phosphatidyl choline that help to maintain healthy arteries. Lecithin also helps to reduce plaque in the arteries, lower blood pressure and ameliorate angina pectoris.

g. Tricuspid regurgitation.
Tricuspid regurgitation is the failure of the right ventricular causing blood to leak back through the tricuspid valve from the right ventricle into the right atrium of the heart. Symptoms of tricuspid regurgitation include leg and ankle swelling and swelling in the abdomen.

e)Truncus arteriosus
Truncus arteriosus is characterized by a large ventricular septal defect over which a large, single great vessel arises. Symptoms of truncus arteriosus include blue coloring of the skin, poor feeding, poor growth and shortness of breath.

B) Malignant tumors
Malignant tumors that originated elsewhere in the body and spread to the heart are more common than ones that originate in the heart. Malignant heart tumors can originate from any heart tissue. They occur mostly in children.

f. Paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia
Paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia is described as an occasional rapid heart rate. Symptoms can come on suddenly and may go away without treatment. They can last a few minutes or 1-2 days.

b. Fibrosarcomas
Fibrosarcomas occur as a soft-tissue mass or as a primary or secondary bone tumor. The 2 main types of fibrosarcoma of bone are
i) Primary fibrosarcoma is a fibroblastic malignancy that produces variable amounts of collagen
ii) Secondary fibrosarcoma of bone arises from a preexisting lesion or after radiotherapy to an area of bone or soft tissue. Symptoms of fibrosarcomas include broken bone, pain, swelling, lump found under skin or bone, frequent urination and urinary obstruction.

1. Prevention and Treatment of Heart Disease with Diet

d. Niacin
Niacin a B3 vitamin, helps decreases blood levels of cholesterol and triglycerides which may reduce the risk of atherosclerosis. Niacin can only be taken under medical supervision because of it's side effects.

To preclude heart diseases, your daily diet should contain:
a) Fiber
Fiber can be soluble or insoluble. As we told in a previous article, soluble fiber can lower your LDL and raise your HDL cholesterol while insoluble fiber has no effect on cholesterol but promotes regular bowel movements. The intake of fatty foods causes the liver to release bile into the intestines to break down the fat.

h. Magnesium
Magnesium helps to improve blood circulation by permitting the muscles in the arterial wall to rest.

3. Shortness of breath
Shortness of breath (dyspnea) is the major symptom of the left ventricular insufficiency. People with shortness of breath are coloring times more probably to die from a heart disease related cause than each individuals without any symptoms.

Types of heart disease that affect the electrical system are known as arrhythmias. They can cause the heart to beat too fast, too slow, or irregularly. These types of heart disease include:

D. Atherosclerosis or hardening of arteries
Arteries are blood vessels that carry oxygen-rich blood to your heart and to other parts of your body. Atherosclerosis is caused by plaques that rupture in result of blood clots that block blood flow or break off and travel to another part of the body. Atherosclerosis has no symptom or warning sign.

The causes of congenital heart diseases of newborns at birth may be in result from poorly controlled blood sugar levels in women having diabetes during pregnancy, some hereditary factors that play a role in congenital heart disease, excessive intake of alcohol and side affects of some drugs during pregnancy.

Anything that serves to damage the inner lining of blood vessels and impedes the transportation of oxygen and nutrition to the heart can be defined as a risk of heart disease.
Unhealthy diet is a major cause of heart diseases resulting in the buildup of cholesterol and fat in the inner wall of arteries that narrows the arteries, impedes the circulation and eventually causes heart attacks.

Endocardium is the inner layer of the heart. It consists of epithelial tissue and connective tissue. Pericardium is the fluid filled sac that surrounds the heart and the proximal ends of the aorta, vena vava and the pulmonary artery.

c. Fibromas
Fibromas develop in the myocardium or the endocardium. These tumors are composed of fibrous or connective tissue and tend to occur on the valves of the heart and may be related to inflammation. Other than seeing or feeling the fibroma, there are no usual symptoms.

2. Chest pain
Chest pain is caused by blood vessels in the heart temporarily being blocked up. It is also caused by inadequate oxygen supply to the heart muscle or coronary . The persistence of chest pain would be an early indication of heart diseases.

There are 4 heart chambers as follow:

IV. Heart Diseases- Prevention and Treatment

* The right atrium
* The left atrium
* The right ventricle
* The left ventricle.

b) Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy
The wall between the two ventricles becomes enlarged, obstructing the blood flow from the left ventricle. Sometimes the thickened wall distorts one leaflet of the mitral valve, causing it to leak. The symptoms of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy include shortness of breath, dizziness, fainting and angina pectoris.

d. Atrial flutter
Atrial flutter is an abnormal heart rhythm that occurs in the atria of the heart causing abnormalities and diseases of the heart. Symptoms of atrial flutter includes shortness of breath, chest pains, anxiety and palpitation.

c. Rhabdomyosarcomas
Rhabdomyosarcomas are a cancer made up of cells that normally develop into skeletal muscles of the body and are also more common in children. They usually have some type of chromosome abnormality in the cells of the tumor, which are responsible for the tumor formation. Symptoms of rhabdomyosarcomas include bleeding from the nose, vagina, rectum, throat and tingling, numbness, and pain.

d. Aortic Stenosis
With aging, protein collagen of the valve leaflets are destroyed and calcium is deposited on the leaflets causing scarring, thickening, and stenosis of the valve therefore increasing the wear and tear on the valve leaflets resulting in the symptoms and heart problems of aortic stenosis.

c. Mitral valves prolapse
In mitral valve prolapse, one or both leaflets of the valve are large resulting in uneven closure of the valve during each heartbeat. Symptoms of mitral valves prolapse are palpitation, shortness of breath, dizzy, fatigue and chest pains.

a. Sinus tachycardia
Sinus tachycardia occurs when the sinus rhythm is faster than 100 beats per minute therefore it increases myocardial oxygen demand and reduces coronary blood flow, thus precipitating an ischemia heart or valvular disease.

*Sudden cardiac death
The victim may or may not have diagnosis of heart diseases, and the death is totally unexpected. Sudden cardiac death is a result from abrupt loss of heart function. The cause of sudden cardiac dealth might be a result of coronary heart disease.

b)Transportation of the great vessels
Transportation of the great vessels is the most common cyanotic congenital heart disease. Transposition of the great vessels is a congenital heart defect in which the 2 major vessels that carry blood away from the aorta and the pulmonary artery of the heart are switched. Symptoms of transportation of the great vessels include blueness of the skin, shortness of breath and poor feeding.

A) Benign tumors
a. Myxoma
Myxoma is a cardiac benign tumor. It is the most common tumor inside of cavities of the heart and most of them occur in the left atrium of the heart obstructing the normal flow of blood within the chambers of the heart. Symptoms of Myxoma include paroxysmal dyspnea, weight loss, feverhemoptysis, lightheadedness and sudden death.

Congenital heart disease is often divided into two types: cyanotic which is caused by a lack of oxygen and non-cyanotic.

b)Atrial septal defect
Atrial septal defect is a hole in the wall between the two upper chambers of your heart causing freshly oxygenated blood to flow from the left upper chamber of the heart into the right upper chamber of the heart. Symptoms of atrial septal defect include shortness of breath, fatigue and heart palpitations or skipped beats.

There are many heart diseases affecting electrical system such as premature arterial contractions, wolf parkinson, etc.

c). Diet high in complex carbohydrates
Vegetables, fruits, some beans and grains contain high amounts of plant pigments known as flavonoids that provide fit protection against heart diseases. Unfortunately study shows that diets high in complex carbohydrate may increase the release of too much insulin to respond to carbohydrates in the diet. The type and amount of carbohydrate foods may need individual monitoring.

d). Drink half of your body weight of water or juices in ounces
If you weigh 160 pounds then you are require to drink 80 ounces of water or juices to prevent the cells in our body to become dehydrated. Maintaining normal function of our body's cells is a healthy way to normalize high blood pressure.

4. Heart disease affecting coronary arteries and coronary veins

c. Atrial fibrillation
Atrial fibrillation is an irregular heart rhythm that starts in the upper parts (atria) of the heart causing irregular beating between the atria and the lower parts (ventricles) of the heart. The lower parts may beat fast and without a regular rhythm. Symptoms of atrial fibrillation include dizziness, light-headedness, shortness of breath, chest pain and irregular heart beat.

7. Congenital heart disease
There are many heart diseases that people are born with. Congenital heart diseases are caused by a persistence in the fetal connection between arterial and venous circulation. Congenital heart diseases affect any part of the heart such as heart muscle, valves, and blood vessels. Congenital heart disease refers to a problem with the heart's structure and function due to abnormal heart development before birth.Every year over 30,000 babies are born with some type of congenital heart abnormal in US alone. Congenital heart disease is responsible for more deaths in the first year of life than any other birth defects. Some congenital heart diseases can be treated with medication alone, while others require one or more surgeries.

d)Total anomalous pulmonary venous return
Total anomalous pulmonary venous return (TAPVR) is a rare congenital heart defect that causes cyanosis or blueness. Symptoms of total anomalous pulmonary venous return include poor feeding, poor growth, respiratory infections and blue skin.

Heart diseases affect the heart chambers include:

B. Non-cyanotic
Non-cyanotic heart defects are more common caused by higher survival rates.
The below lists are the most common of non-cyanotic congenital heart diseases:
a)Ventricular septal defect
Ventricular septal defect is a hole in the wall between the right and left ventricles of the heart causing right and left ventricles to work harder, pumping a greater volume of blood than they normally would in result of failure of the left ventricle. Symptoms of ventricular septal defect include very fast heartbeats, sweating, poor feeding, poor weight gain and pallor.

A. Congestive heart failure
Heart failure is caused by the heart not pumping as much blood as it should and so the body does not get as much blood and oxygen that it needs. The malfunctioning of the heart chambers are due to damage caused by narrowed or blocked arteries leading to the muscle of your heart.

a. Endocarditis
Endocarditis, which is an inflammation of the endocardium is caused by bacteria entering the bloodstream and settling on the inside of the heart, usually on the heart valves that consists of epithelial tissue and connective tissue. It is the most common heart disease in people who have a damaged, diseased, or artificial heart valve. Symptoms of endocarditis include fever, chilling, fatigue, aching joint muscles, night sweats, shortness of breath, modify in temperature and a persistent cough.

Here are many early indication of heart disease symptoms:

B. Heart attacks known as myocardial infarction or MI
Heart attacks caused by plaque rupture with thrombus formation in a coronary vessel, resulting in an acute reduction of blood supply to a portion of the myocardium. Symptoms of MI include a squeezing sensation of the chest, sweating, nausea and vomiting, upper back pain and arm pain.

b. Mitral valves regurgitation
Mitral regurgitation is the heart disease in which your heart's mitral valve doesn't close tightly causing the blood to be unable to move through the heart efficiently. Symptoms of mitral valve regurgitation are fatigue and shortness of breath.

a. Angiosarcomas
Angiosarcomas account for about a third of completely malignant heart tumors and usually takeoff on the right side of the heart. The cause of angiosarcomas is usually unknown and symptoms of angiosarcomas differ according to the location of the tumour. Often symptoms of the disease are not apparent until the tumour is well advanced.

1. Leg cramps during walking
Leg cramps during exercise may be caused by dehydration. It is important to drink a lot of fluid during exercise. Leg cramps occur when the muscle suddenly and forcefully contracts. The most common muscles to contract in this manner are muscles that cross two joints. Leg cramps during walking might be an indication of heart disease caused by arteries in your leg being clogged up by cholesterol in happen of not enough oxygen being delivered to the cells in your leg.

3. Heart disease affecting heart valves

There are many more symptoms such as fatigue, memory defects, and changes in skin tone and temperature.

8. Other Types of Heart Diseases

A. Angina pectoris
Angina pectoris occurs when the heart muscle doesn't get as much blood oxygen as it needs. Here are 3 types of angina pectoris:
a) Stable angina
Stable angina is chest pain or discomfort that typically occurs with activity or stress due to oxygen deficiency in the blood muscles and usually follows a predictable pattern. Symptom of stable angina include chest pain, tightness, pressure, indigestion feeling and pain in the upper neck and arm.

g. Calcium and potassium
Calcium and potassium deficiency may result in heart palpitation.

b. Pericardium
Pericarditis is the inflammation of the pericardium. It is caused by infection of the pericardium which is the thin, tough bag-like membrane surrounding the heart. The pericardium also prevents the heart from over expanding when blood volume increases. Symptoms of pericarditis include chest pain, mild fever, weakness, fatigue, coughing, hiccups, and muscle aches.

b. L- Carnitine
L-Carnitine working with vitamin E will help the body to recover quickly from fatigue. L-Carnitine helps the body convert fatty acids into energy, which is used primarily for muscular activities throughout the body. When working with vitamin E, L-carnitine will help the body to recover quickly from fatigue and combat heart diseases.

2. Prevention and Treatment of Heart Disease with natural remedies

a. L-Arginine
L-Arginine helps to increase the production of nitric oxide in our body, this has an anti-angina and anti-stress effect upon the arteries enabling the muscles in the arterial walls to relax. L-Arginine also helps to prevent the build up of plaque on the arterial walls. L- Arginne taken either orally or intravenously has been found to prevent and reverse atherosclerosis, improving the functional status of heart failure and increasing blood flow in heart disease patients.

Beside foods and herbs, nutritional supplements also play an important role in preventing heart diseases and stroke. Here are some nutritional supplements which have proven record in treating heart diseases:

f. Taurine
Taurine is an amino acid that acts as an antioxidant helping to fortify cardiac contraction and enhance the outflow of blood from the heart. Intake of taurine will reduce the risk of congestive heart failure and arteriosclerosis.

Heart failure is caused by the heart not pumping as much blood as it should and so the body does not get as much blood and oxygen that it needs. The malfunctioning of the heart chambers are due to damage caused by narrowed or blocked arteries leading to the muscle of your heart.

Here are many types of heart disease affecting heart valves:
a. Mitral Stenosis
Mitral Stenosis is a heart valve disorder that involves a narrowing or blockage of the opening of the mitral valve causing the volume and pressure of blood in the left atrium increases.

c) Variant angina also known as coronary artery spasm
Caused by the narrowing of the coronary arteries. This is caused by the contraction of the smooth muscle tissue in the vessel walls. Symptoms of variant angina include increasing of heart rate, pressure and chest pain.

j. Flax seeds
Flax seeds contain high amounts of alpha-linoenic acid that helps to lower high blood pressure and the risk of stroke. Eating too much flax seeds will cause gas to build up if you are not used to it.

7. Loss of consciousness
It is a common symptom, most people pass out at least once in their lives. However, sometimes loss of consciousness indicates a dangerous or even life-threatening condition such as heart disease so when loss of consciousness occurs it is important to figure out the cause.

In this article, we will discuss other types of heart diseases that can affect any part of the heart including the following:

III. Types of Heart Diseases

b) Reduce intake of saturated fat and trans fat
We know that saturated and trans fat are toxins causing cholesterol to build up in the arteries damaging the arterial wall and narrows the arterial passage in result of poor circulation and oxygen transportation to our body in result of high blood pressure as the heart has to work harder than normal in order to give enough nutrition to the body`s cells. Eventually, the heart will fail and result in heart diseases. It is recommended that you decrease the intake of animal fat and increase the intake of cold water fish which is the best sources of omega 3 and 6 fatty acids that can help your cholesterol levels as well as lowering your blood pressure.

The heart is a four chambered, hollow muscle and double acting pump that is located in the chest between the lungs. Heart diseases caused by high blood pressure contributes to hardening of the arteries. High levels of bad cholesterol (LDL) build up in the arteries as a result of uncontrolled diet with high levels of saturated fat and trans fat. All these add to the formation of atherosclerosis lesions and eventually arterial blockage.
There are a little of major types of heart diseases:

E. Silent ischemia.
Ischemia is a condition in which the blood flow is restricted to a part of the body caused by narrowing of heart arteries. Silent ischemia means people have ischemia without pain. There is also no warning sign before heart attack.

B. Pulmonary heart disease
Pulmonary heart disease is caused by an enlarged right ventricle. It is known as heart disease resulting from a lung disorder where the blood flowing into the lungs is slowed or blocked causing increased lung pressure. The right side of the heart has to pump harder to push against the increased pressure and this can caused enlargement of the right ventricle.

a) Diastolic dysfunction:
The contraction function is normal but there's impaired relaxation of the heart, impairing its efficacy to fill with blood making the blood returning to the heart to accumulate in the lungs or veins.

b) Unstable angina
Unstable angina is caused by blockage of the blood flow to the heart. Without blood and the oxygen, part of the heart starts to die. Symptoms of unstable angina include pain spread down the left shoulder and arm to the back, jaw, neck, or right arm, discomfort of chest and chest pressure.

5. Dizziness
Dizziness could have many causes with low blood count, low iron in the blood coloring page and different blood disorders, dehydration, and viral illnesses. Since there are many different conditions that can produce these symptoms, anybody experiencing episodes of severe headaches or dizziness ought to be checked by your doctor.

There are many more types of non-cyanotic such as pulmonic stenosis, patent ductus arteriorus, and atrioventricular cana. These problems may occur alone or together. Most congenital heart diseases occur as an isolated defect and is not associated with other diseases.

*A cardiac tumor can be either malignant or benign

A. Cyanotic
Cyanosis is a blue coloration of the skin due to a lack of oxygen generated in blood vessels near the skin surface. It occurs when the oxygen level in the arterial blood falls below 85-90%.
The below lists are the most common of cyanotic congenital heart diseases:
a)Tetralogy of fallot
Tetralogy of fallot is a condition of several congenital defects that occur when the heart does not develop normally. It is the most common cynaotic heart defect and a common cause of blue baby syndrome.

d. Teratomas of the pericardium
It is often attached to the base of the great vessels, usually occuring in infants. They are rarer than cysts or lipomas, usually causes no symptoms.

1. Type of heart disease affecting heart chambers

b. Sinus bradycardia
Sinus bradycardia occurs when a decrease of cardiac output results in regular but unusually slow down heart beat less than 60 beats per minute. Symptoms of sinus bradycardia includes a feeling of weightlessness of the head, dizziness, low blood pressure, vertigo, and syncope.

I hope this information will help. If you need more information of the above subject, please visit my house page at:

k. Ginkgo biloba
Ginkgo biloba helps to to make blood less sticky and prevents blood clotting and stroke. Unlike aspirin, Ginkgo biloba will not cause upset stomach and internal bleeding. Also, Ginkgo biloba can improve blood circulation. Be sure not to take Ginkgo seeds because they are toxic and can cause seizures.

b) Systolic dysfunction:
The relaxing function is normal but there's impaired contraction of the heart causing the heart to not pump out as much blood that is returned to it as it normally does as a result of more blood remaining in the lower chambers of the heart.

Heart Diseases - Causes, Symptoms, Types, Prevention & Treatment of Heart Diseases

4. Headaches
People look sparkling zigzag lines or loss of vision before a migraine attack might be at particular risk of future cardiovascular problems. Generally headaches do not cause heart diseases but a sudden, explosive onset of great pain might be.

h.Ventricular fibrillation
